The Phillips Group’s full-time credentialed staff includes licensed architects and engineers trained in the administration/enforcement of building codes, building officials, certified plans examiners, and certified building officials. The staff is active with AIA, CALBO, CBOAC, ICC, NFPA, IAPMC, and SEAONC (Structural Engineers Association of Northern California) and regularly provides seminars and workshops on building code regulations.

The Phillips Group has vast experience with public agencies, and has served over 100 cities, counties, and state agencies in California and Oregon. This experience incorporates plan review and inspection services for tens of thousands of structures, as well as a significant amount of building department administration experience.

The Phillips Group has also performed the majority of all peer reviews in Marin, Sonoma, and Napa counties over the past decade.
