The experienced staff of The Phillips Group meets the highest standards of professional competency within the industry. The Phillips Group’s full-time credentialed staff includes licensed architects and engineers trained in the administration of building codes. Also on staff are certified building officials, certified plans examiners, and certified building inspectors. Licensed structural engineers review structural calculations; building inspections are provided by certified building inspectors, and "best practices" standards are applied to each project.

The Phillips Group staff members are goal-oriented service providers with over two centuries of combined experience in the application and interpretation of building codes. Members of the team have worked together for many years, and are selected not only for their competence, but also for their reliability and team approach.

Continuing education and cross training are a vital component of the staff’s ongoing development. Members of the staff have instructed at the college level, and are actively involved with the Education Committees of the Redwood Empire American Institute of Architects (AIA), Redwood Empire International Conference of Building Officials (ICBO) and the North Coast Builders Exchange. Our technical staff regularly attends seminars and workshops in addition to our in-house training.
