The Phillips Group’s turnkey services include the issuance of permits, plan check, inspection, and the enforcement of all laws, codes and regulations set forth by the jurisdiction. Duties usually include:
- Perform all plan checks and building inspections, or provide technical staff support to existing personnel, as necessary
- Interface with the public as part of the counter staff
- Provide a certified building official who will function as the jurisdiction’s building official of record
- Calculate and collect all fees
- Issue all permits on a timely basis
- Provide, maintain, and update a computerized permit tracking systems that is compatible with the agency’s existing electronic data base
- Issue all red tags, related stop work notices, and follow up procedures
