All of the plan reviews performed by the Phillips Group are completed in a timely manner, in accordance with the jurisdiction’s designated schedule, by licensed architects, engineers, and ICBO Certified Plans Examiners. The Phillips Group is highly cognizant of the role that Building Officials play in the plan review process. The Phillip’s Group multi-disciplinary plan review services include single residences, multi family residences, and commercial and institutional facilities. . Initial plan reviews of residential projects taken seven work days or less; commercial projects can be completed within 15 work days or less. All plan reviews are completed with two standards in mind: design integrity and code compliance with the adopted edition of the applicable codes.

Once the Phillips Group staff has completed its review, it identifies items needing clarification or correction to achieve compliance with applicable regulation. A review report is created to outline these items, and is then transmitted to the Building Department.
